日本心理学会発刊の英文誌「Japanese Psychological
Research」第66巻4号（2024年10月刊行予定）で「顔と身体」の特集号の原稿を募集しております。
皆様のご投稿をお待ち申し上げております。
“Studies of Face and Body”
Humans as social animals have remarkable abilities to identify
different individuals and their emotional expressions through facial
and body features. A visual system not only uses special perceptual
processing for faces and bodies that is different from other objects,
but also forms category-selective cortical regions that underpin this
special processing. As a hot topic in psychological research, we are
now gaining more and more new insights into the mechanisms behind
psychological aspects of the face and body. This special issue aims to
showcase recent empirical and theoretical advances in the studies of
the face and body, including but not limited to perception, cognition,
memory, development, social behavior, individual and cultural
variation, and action dynamics in face and body processing. We welcome
works using experimental approaches and meta-analyses, as well as
reviews shedding light on the theoretical aspects. Additionally, we
also welcome research on the neuro-atypical population associated with
disturbances of the perception of face and body.

顔・身体に関する実験研究の他に、メタアナリシス研究やレビュー論文も大歓迎です。投稿の事前審査があるため、投稿前に500ワード以内の要旨（Abstract）をいずれかの編集者に送ってください。要旨送付の締切りは2023年5月31日、論文投稿の締切りは2023年10月31日です。
