主旨および目的
The International Symposium on Rationality: Theories and Implicationsは、単発の国際シンポジウムで、企画者の山祐嗣が研究代表を務めている国際共同研究強化(B)(Religious moral reasoning in the frame of dual process approach: Cultural differences in religious moral reasoning and thinking style.)の研究費および日本学術振興会・外国人招へい研究者(短期)プログラムの助成によって開催されます。近年、合理性についての議論がさまざまな視点から行われ、認知心理学や社会心理学、哲学、工学等にまたがる学際的な領域の研究になってきています。また、政治的分断やフェイクニュース・陰謀論などの非合理的な思考が世界的に問題視される中で、合理性についての議論は非常に重要になってきています。本シンポジウムは、最新の研究成果の発信の場として、この理論的発展と現実の問題への適用に貢献できると期待できます。発表はすべて英語で行われ、通訳はありません。
